The Sandy Slant
In August, we had the pleasure of creating a garden for the lovely Birgitta & Torbjörn. The house is eco-friendly and surrounded by forest on all but one side, the garden side, which overlooks lake Vänern. When we arrived, the garden was not much more than a sandy slope, some weeds, lots of stones, and a Spiraea hedge.
"We are very happy with what you have done here. The garden is incomparable, we have never anything like it. Everyone who sees it also thinks that it is very pretty. Now that it is so nice, it feels more fun for us to work in the garden. It was also nice to have you here, so lovely and fun, and easy to collaborate with. "

The Wild Willow
In September, we took on the project of pollarding (an old method of tree pruning) a Salix (willow) tree, which had grown so large that our customer could hardly see her garden and the neighbors were starting to lose light in theirs. From left to right: The tree before, in all its summertime glory, Henric in his natural habitat, & the tree afterwards. We will post more photos next year!
